№ 01 / Overview

The world's most complete (IT) PM training.

This five-week Information Technology Project Management training delivers a rare combination — the skills development and the tool/technique fluency that IT project success actually demands. You'll get a working foundation in PMI's latest Project Management Framework, then graduate to the emerging, cutting-edge tools the modern delivery team uses every day.

The course covers managing an IT project end-to-end, from systems and infrastructure implementation through scalable enterprise applications. As part of the programme, every student works on two real-world IT projects — a Windows server upgrade for an oil & gas company, and a systems integration project for a telecommunications firm — from initiation to closure.

Not all PMP courses are equal. The quality of competing prep courses varies widely, and many will not fully prepare you for the exam. Our offering combines project delivery from initiation phase to closure phase, a hands-on approach leveraging the PMI framework of best practices, access to additional web-based video lectures, and the most comprehensive training materials in the industry — plus a resume review and interview-prep week.

Who this is for: Aspiring project managers, business systems analysts, current project managers seeking certification, associate/assistant PMs, project schedulers, team leads, project executives and engineers, and software developers moving into delivery roles.

№ 03 / Curriculum

Five weeks. Five themes.

Each week ends with a scenario-based assessment and a mentor session. The two capstone projects — Windows 2003 Server upgrade and Systems Integration — run across Weeks 4 and 5.

The PMI framework, the universal 6-stage project model, process groups and knowledge areas. We cover what the PMBOK actually says and what working PMs do on Monday morning — and where those two diverge. Includes exam blueprint walk-through and PMI application workflow.
Session 1 introduces the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and how it integrates with project delivery. Session 2 walks the IT systems landscape — servers, networks, enterprise applications — so you understand what's actually being built when an IT project is funded.
Hands-on Microsoft Project from blank file to baselined schedule. Tasks, predecessors, durations, resources, leveling, critical path, and reporting. By end of week you'll have built and tracked a real schedule the way a working PM would.
The scenario: you are the PM at an oil & gas company upgrading 300 Microsoft Windows 2003 servers because they're approaching end-of-life. Enterprise-wide implementation, physical and virtual server upgrades, cross-functional team. You execute the full project from initiation to closure — charter, WBS, schedule, risk register, communications plan, change control, the closeout.
The scenario: you are the PM at a telecommunications company following a major infrastructure upgrade. You must deploy supporting IT — new hardware and enterprise software — integrated into the existing environment. Enterprise rollout, cross-functional team, full delivery responsibility from initiation through closure.
Resume rewrite against real PM job descriptions. LinkedIn positioning. Mock interviews with feedback. Salary negotiation playbook. A full mock PMP exam with proctored scoring and detailed gap analysis. You leave with the credential pipeline, the artefacts, and a job-search plan.

№ 06 / Questions

The questions we hear most.

PMI requires either a four-year degree plus 36 months of project leadership experience, or a high-school diploma/associate's degree plus 60 months. Both paths also require 35 hours of project management education — which our programme delivers. We walk you through PMI's application step by step. If you don't currently qualify, give us a call for free advice — there's usually a route.
You get a one-on-one mentor — a practicing PMP, not a moderator. You build two real capstone projects from oil & gas and telecom engagements, not slides. Microsoft Project tool training is included. And you walk out with a polished resume and a job-search plan. None of that exists in a self-paced course.
It means what it says — a true 100% money-back guarantee with no fine print. We stand behind the product. If you complete the programme, do the work, and don't pass the exam, you get your money back. Most companies hide their guarantee in legalese; we don't.
Either. The cohort is delivered in person at our Sugar Land classroom and simultaneously via live webinar. Pick whichever fits your week. Both formats include the same instructor, same materials, same mentor pairing, and 24/7 access to the online portal.
No — PMI charges the exam fee directly ($405 for non-members, $284 for PMI members at time of writing). We walk you through PMI membership; it usually pays for itself with the discount.
Yes — we partner with Mia-Share / Meritize for tuition financing. The standard plan is three payments of $665. See Financial Aid for full details or call 832-757-9988 for advice.
Yes. Week 5 is dedicated to resume rewriting, LinkedIn positioning, mock interviews and a salary playbook. Post-class tutoring extends beyond the cohort. Many alumni route through Mac Jason Consult engagements for early-career project exposure.
